Route description

Lake of Love on the Morg-Syrty ridge is recognised by its heart-shaped outline. This direction descends from its shores towards Arkhyz, leaving the open mountain area for woodland and ending near the village. An essential access restriction applies: the Teberdinsky National Park’s current guidance prohibits visits to Lake of Love and states that permission documents are not issued. The full descent therefore cannot presently be planned as a permitted walk. This description explains the geography; older tour offers do not establish access.
