Route description

From Likani valley the path climbs into the Borjomi-Kharagauli woodland before crossing towards Kvabiskhevi. The forest setting takes attention first, as the valley approach gradually becomes hillside zigzags. Higher up, the path connects with other national-park directions before changing valleys. The memorable lower section is Kvabiskhevi Canyon, reached by descending from the mountain woodland. The river course becomes the main landmark again and brings a clear conclusion to the mountain day. This outing does not return to Likani: organise onward travel from the Kvabiskhevi area beforehand. The trail’s nature-related name does not promise wildlife encounters.
