Route description

Open Wielka Polana Małołącka lies between Przysłop Miętusi and Grzybowiec. The crossing descends from the first saddle towards the meadow, then enters woodland and climbs to the next. This sequence makes the valley’s structure easy to appreciate: saddles, meadow and forest form distinct parts of one mountain setting. Pause beside the permitted path to study the surroundings of Mała Łąka. Check the park bulletin before walking: at review, the section from the meadow towards Grzybowiec is among the directions under repair.

Риски TPN’s current bulletin reports repairs on Wielka Polana Małołącka–Grzybowiec–Wyżnia Kondracka. Check the permitted passage and follow workers’ instructions; choose another direction if locally blocked. Woodland stones and roots become slippery after rain. Avoid continuing to Giewont without a separate plan, and leave before dusk.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 14 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow roughly one to one and a half hours between Przysłop Miętusi and Grzybowiec, including a meadow pause. With a lower approach from Gronik and return through the same valley, allow approximately four to six hours overall. Recalculate any different descent separately; repairs and wet ground may add time.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Dry, snow-free weather with confirmed passage through the maintenance section is preferable. Check residual snow in spring and woodland mud or ice in autumn. Current restrictions matter more than the general summer season; winter requires a separate assessment.
