Route description

Above Ölüdeniz’s southeastern edge, this short mountain outing explores lower paths on the Babadağ side. Branches and return passages offer a closer look at a small hillside area. The resort remains nearby, but the ground is already uneven mountain terrain, with sections requiring confident movement and careful route finding. The selected walk finishes on another lower path above the settlement. Babadağ’s summit requires a separate, much longer plan.

Ölüdeniz Lagoon and Belceğiz Beach lie in the lower resort area and require a separate return towards the sea. A full Babadağ ascent, its upper platforms and a cable-car visit have their own arrangements and conditions. They are separate from this lower mountain fragment.

Without a car
Take municipal service 3-40 from Fethiye to Ölüdeniz, then separately approach the southeastern mountain departure. Include the approach and return in your visit. Plan the road journey around the current timetable and check the final departure for your chosen day.
By car
Use the ordinary road into Ölüdeniz, then approach the selected path on foot. Direct vehicle access to the upper departure is unconfirmed. The start and finish lie on different lower paths above the settlement; work out your return to the road area beforehand.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Select an authorised place in Ölüdeniz’s road area and check its conditions before leaving. Do not expect vehicle space beside the narrow mountain path. Allow time to walk back into the settlement.
