Route description

This road variation starts near Zorlar, heads south along the D400 corridor and returns to the northern part of the area. It differs substantially from Antik Pedal’s recreational canal roads: the main setting here is a major vehicle road. The complete outing is not recommended in its current form. Its return repeats the same carriageway in the opposite direction although that carriageway is mapped as one-way. A separately verified legal return is needed before riding. This variation does not reach Çaykenarı.

Nearby

The official Antik Pedal Zorlar–Çaykenarı connection follows a different scheme of local and canal roads. Its map marks a rare-flora observation area, with April and May recommended for orchids. Visiting requires a separately confirmed approach rather than stopping on the vehicle road. Eşen River’s banks and Çaykenarı are outside the selected road outing.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Car-free transport directly to the selected departure is unconfirmed. Arrange a local transfer and bicycle carriage before visiting the Zorlar area. Transport arrangements are separate from resolving the safe road return. Following the complete described scheme is currently not recommended.
By car
Plan road arrival in the Zorlar area. Meet on an authorised local area rather than the main road shoulder. Follow current signs and traffic directions. Do not return against traffic on the same one-way carriageway; establish a legal return beforehand.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Agree an authorised vehicle place near Zorlar before travelling. Avoid assembling on the main road’s narrow shoulder. Once a safe return is established, arrange any support-vehicle meeting separately.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 212 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 98%.
Риски The central problem is the return on the same one-way D400 carriageway. Riding against its permitted flow is prohibited. The road corridor also needs assessment of traffic, shoulders and junctions; a protected cycle path is unconfirmed. Until a legal return is selected, the complete variation is unsuitable for an independent recreational ride. Walking the vehicle-road passage is also not recommended.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 58 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A completion time for a safe full outing is not established because the return needs a separate permitted scheme. Do not transfer the standard Antik Pedal connection’s timing to this variation. Select a suitable route first, then calculate the ride around its road conditions, pauses and transport.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Cool, dry weather is more comfortable for rural cycling around this area. Antik Pedal’s spring flower information concerns designated points on its own network. Suitable weather and clear visibility do not resolve the wrong-way return on a one-way road.
