Route description

From Escalona, CIMA HU04 enters Añisclo on the canyon road. The climb introduces the Bellós district and reaches the surroundings of San Úrbez bridge before continuing toward Fanlo. Los Sestrales / La Tella provides a stop before the upper ascent. The finish is at the pass sign and village-road junction, so visiting Fanlo itself is additional. Choose this ride for a road-based introduction to Añisclo after establishing that current traffic arrangements permit bicycles and the road condition has been checked.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - No With a dog - No By bike - Yes With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data The road-cycling climb suits adults confident on a narrow road shared with motor traffic. A dog or stroller is outside this format. Check bicycle access and current traffic arrangements before travelling.

Nearby

Walking deeper into the canyon from San Úrbez is a separate route with different equipment and timing. Fanlo village lies on a branch at the climb’s end and is not automatically a continuation into another valley.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map

The organiser places the start at the A138 junction in Escalona toward Añisclo. The canyon road continues toward Fanlo; check current traffic direction, restrictions and landslide effects.
Parking
Ask about car storage in Escalona before travelling. Dedicated participant parking for this ride is not established. An arbitrary canyon verge does not replace an agreed vehicle-storage plan.
