Route description

The Coll d’Honor climb begins below Bunyola, passes through town and follows the mountain road towards the saddle. Sant Mateu Church by the square and Creu d’en Garau provide particular stops before town gives way to the bends towards Orient. This version turns at Coll d’Honor and returns towards Bunyola, linking a town visit and a pass climb in one cycling day.

Route at a glance

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
You need mountain-road experience beside cars and confident speed control downhill. This is unsuitable for an ordinary outing with young children. Arrive under your own power or arrange a bicycle in town; public transport carriage rules need separate checking. A continuous pedestrian stroller route has not been established.

Nearby

Orient lies beyond Coll d’Honor and needs a continuation with its own return plan. Forest walks in Comuna de Bunyola belong to another path network; this road climb does not establish permission to cycle every woodland branch. For a closer look at Bunyola afterwards, choose a municipal town walking itinerary.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
TIB303 connects Palma with Bunyola and the town stop Costa de s’Estació. Plan the separate approach to the lower start and how you will obtain a bicycle. Bicycle carriage on the chosen service has not been established; ask before travelling. Allow time for the descent and the journey to the stop when selecting your return service.
By car
Arrive around Bunyola and choose a legal lower point to switch to the bicycle. Add the return to your chosen car space after descending. Unload beyond the traffic lane. Starting at the upper pass simply to shorten the ride would change the outing and leave out the town approach.
Parking
Verified parking at the exact lower start has not been established. Find out where you may leave a car in Bunyola for the cycling outing and check signs at the chosen space. Do not assume that a town access road, church entrance or roadside bend provides permission to park.

What to expect

Creu d’en Garau Wayside Cross the named cross in the town section.
Coll d’Honor the ride’s upper destination before the return descent.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 616 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 70%, Unknown 30%.
Риски Take care at town junctions and leave space for other traffic on the climb. The descent uses the same mountain road: bends, fatigue and wet surfaces require controlled speed. Stop only in a safe space beyond the carriageway. The continuation over the pass to Orient is outside this version.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 54 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow a one-day ride for the town pause, the pass climb and the return towards Bunyola. A church stop does not guarantee open doors; the exterior is beside the route, while access inside needs separate arrangement. Add the journey to the car or bus stop and leave a margin before the return service.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose dry weather with good road visibility. Start in the morning on a hot day and prepare an extra layer for a cool descent. Postpone during strong wind or a downpour. Check road restrictions for the chosen date.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
A bicycle with sound brakes and suitable gearing
A helmet and visible clothing
Water and food for the climb and descent
A windproof layer
Lights and a charged phone
A pump, repair kit and spare inner tube
