Route description

The mountain ascent starts on the wooded side above Yalta near Stavri-Kaya. It climbs in the Stavri Trail direction, reaches Stavri-Bogaz saddle and continues north along the upper slope side. It finishes in the mountains, so an onward exit and return need separate preparation. Stavri-Kaya’s summit itself lies away from the start and is outside this version. The woodland approach changes into a more open mountain trail, making navigation more significant near the upper exit. Availability of this specific Stavri Trail continuation is not confirmed by the agency’s current route list. Obtain agreement on the permitted path before setting out: movement outside published reserve routes is prohibited.
