Route description

This woodland version starts on the western side of upper Botkin Trail’s approaches below Stavri-Kaya. It follows slope bends, uses a higher northern branch and descends to an eastern woodland finish. This is a separate crossing between forest locations. The selected path does not reach Stavri-Kaya’s summit or a confirmed waterfall cascade. Rocky bends and wooded terrain provide the main experience. Hotel boundaries occur in the eastern section, so passage needs separate agreement. The agency requires a permit and contracted instructor-guide for Botkin Trail. Check every branch of this specific crossing and the onward road exit with the guide.

Stavri-Kaya’s summit lies away from the western start. Kush-Kaya and Upper Yauzlar are near the northern section, but directly visiting the rock and actual cascade is unconfirmed. Upper Yauzlar is mapped at differing locations. The Polyana Skazok hotel by the eastern passage differs from the museum; a museum excursion is outside this walk.
