Route description

The historical outing at Summayarvi–Lyahde brings together Sj5 Million Fortress, Sj4 Poppius and several other Mannerheim Line structures. Sj7 Concrete Trench and Sj2 Artillery Test Wall reveal different elements of the former defensive system rather than one striking bunker. The Vesnyanka marks the western waterside approach, with woodland passages between historical stops. A knowledgeable historian can explain the places without attaching a legend to every concrete fragment. Admission is the essential condition for choosing this trip. Most passages lie within the mapped military territory of the Bobochinskiy firing range. Unrestricted independent visiting is unconfirmed. Obtain authorisation and an agreed safe programme from responsible services and the organiser before departure. An archived excursion offer belongs to an earlier period and is not present permission.
