Route description

In Kolpino, Chukhonka Park offers a change from city streets to green walking paths. This selected outing enters from the north, follows interior and bank-side sections, then returns to the same entrance. Pause beside Izhorsky Pond to see how water separates the green park setting from the surrounding town. Asphalt and ground paths alternate inside the park. Choose an unhurried outing, family walk or more active walking day. Part of the northern approach repeats on the return, allowing another water-side pause and an ending without transport recovery at a different end. Bank-side observation is a worthwhile goal in itself. Cathedral entry, distant monuments and other new Kolpino spaces need independent programmes. Choose a pace for your company and leave time to enjoy the park.
