Route description

From Vybye village, this circuit heads onto land between the river valley and Luga Bay. Pine woodland changes into river-side vegetation, wooden passages and open coastal surroundings. Its unusual stops include the Rupor sound pavilion, designed for listening to wind and water, and the Bashnya observation tower, where an open ascent offers a higher view. The walk returns towards its roadside departure and includes short branches. Avoid considering it complete after the first gulf view: the transition from river to coast and back is part of its appeal. Reserve visits require payment; check present payment and access conditions with the directorate. Establish documentation requirements separately for the border-area journey.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 26 м.
SurfaceDirt 40%, Gravel 27%, Asphalt 4%, Unknown 30%.
Риски The official description reports no substantial obstacles, although wet boardwalks, sand and coastal wind affect walking. Examine tower stairs before ascending and use railings correctly. Strong wind and high water justify avoiding exposed coast. Stay above vulnerable vegetation on boardwalks and do not assume a nearby shore permits camping.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 24 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow approximately1.5–2hours for this circuit, branches and unhurried pauses. This is an editorial estimate; the published main-route hour excludes your pavilion and tower viewing. Add arrival, the local approach from transport and further walking separately.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Visits are possible year-round with accessible passages and an appropriate forecast. Snow-free conditions make coastal vegetation and sand forms easier to observe. Take binoculars for birds; sightings depend on season and weather. Check winter boardwalks and stairs; travelling on ice is excluded.
