Route description

Near Khrushchevo, this short running outing explores springs on the wooded slope above the Moscow River. It begins north of the village, enters the woodland around small streams and returns towards the outskirts, where water emerges among the vegetation. Slow down to find the separate spring above the hollow, examine the little stream northwest of Khrushchevo and notice how water gathers in the forest depressions. The finish is on the Kozhino side. This is an independent outing along local paths, requiring care at junctions. Grass and shrubs can obscure the spring area; choose a dry day and allow time to find the passage. Carry your own drinking water.

Nearby

Longer outings along the Moscow River valley and elsewhere around Tuchkovo require their own programme. This short option does not include the full Polushkino–Teatralnaya journey. Spring water quality has not been established by laboratory testing; health claims are not used. Rocky cascades, an equipped swimming place and permanently flowing waterfalls have not been established for this option.

Arrange a drop-off near an accessible road on the Khrushchevo side and collection towards Kozhino. The woodland start requires a separate approach from a lawful stopping place. Check village entrances and prepare the return to a parked car before travelling. Vehicle support along the paths is not included.
Parking
No parking area at either end has been confirmed. Choose a lawful place in advance and obtain the owner’s conditions where private land is involved. Keep narrow woodland entrances, gates and access to village houses clear.
