Route description

Nekrasovskaya to Iksha through the northern Nerskoye woods brings together two different sides of a winter outing near Moscow. The ski journey first heads west through a woodland section of the Lakes Nerskoye, Dolgoye and Krugloye and Their Immediate Surroundings Nature Monument. You enter protected forest north of the lake, without reaching its shore. The passage then continues north, meets the Klubish and turns towards Iksha. This version’s river location is farther south than the crossing on the alternative with an extra western loop. It forms an independent ski day between Nekrasovskaya and Iksha. Before departure, confirm woodland passage, an authorised Klubish crossing and snow conditions; a prepared ski trail today is separately unconfirmed.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
For independent skiers experienced in woodland outings and assessing water crossings. Dog walking is prohibited within the nature monument section visited. Conditions for children and the complete bicycle passage are unestablished; do not plan this ski journey with a stroller. Continuous reception is unconfirmed.

Nearby

Lake Nerskoye lies in another part of the same nature monument, but this passage does not visit its shore. Lakes Dolgoye and Krugloye form other protected areas and are not automatically added to the outing. The western loop of the neighbouring ski version reaches a different Klubish location; do not combine the two continuations without separately checking their connections.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Arrive at passenger Nekrasovskaya on the Savyolovsky direction, then choose a separate authorised approach from the required platform to the start. After the main ending, allow a separate approach to passenger Iksha on the same direction. Check present train calls and passenger passages. The author’s running alternative from Katuar is separate and does not replace arrival at Nekrasovskaya.
By car
Agree drop-off on the Nekrasovskaya side and collection after the ending near Iksha. Direct vehicle access to the woodland sections and the Klubish is unestablished. Ordinary cars must stay outside the protected nature section. If leaving a vehicle at the start, arrange the return from the Iksha side.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Ask whether you may leave a vehicle at your chosen starting or finishing approach for the whole outing. Agree authorised drop-off and a longer car stay separately.

What to expect

Places
Nerskoye Nature Monument area (northern woodland) The passage enters the northern woodland of the monument’s Nerskoye area. This is a visit to its protected forest surroundings; it does not reach the shore of Lake Nerskoye.
Klubish at the southern crossing towards Iksha After the northern woodland continuation, the passage crosses the Klubish farther south than the neighbouring version with a western loop. The stream marks the turn towards the Iksha side; check the present authorised crossing beforehand.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 312 м.
SurfaceТип покрытия пока не определён.
Риски Check woodland connections between Nekrasovskaya, the northern Nerskoye section and the continuation to the Klubish. A present authorised river crossing is unknown: a bridge, ford and safe ice are unestablished. Fires and establishing tourist camps are prohibited in the nature monument. Use authorised passenger passages at the platforms; seasonal snow does not guarantee every woodland connection.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 4 h 42 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A confirmed modern total duration for the one-day ski outing is unavailable. Allow separately for the western woodland approach, northern continuation and river location before Iksha. An approach to the required passenger platform remains after the main line. Keep a reserve before the chosen return train and a way to finish earlier if woodland or river conditions change.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose the ski outing with settled snow after checking passage through the protected woods and across the Klubish. A thaw requires a fresh decision at the river. The author’s thin-snow running outing starts at Katuar and has a different beginning; its conditions do not establish this entire line.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Skis and bindings for woodland travel, plus a repair kit for your equipment.
Warm pause clothing, wind protection and spare dry items.
Your own drinking water, hot drink and food; river replenishment is unconfirmed.
A map of the woodland section, Klubish and both platform approaches, charged phone, reserve power, light and first aid.
An agreed return if the outing ends early.
