Route description

Bakovka begins a substantial running day linking two ponds, modern Skolkovo and Romashkovo Forest in one directed outing. The opening woodland portion passes Big Lazenkovsky Pond before taking its own loop towards Meshchersky Pond. Setun appears beside actual open river passages. Beyond the woods, Skolkovo’s Technopark side introduces the outdoor Malevich’s Cipher composition, while Bibigon stands beside the Novaya Tryokhgorka passage. The northern continuation reaches Chachenka Stream and Romashkovo, where a short pause can be made at the memorial to villagers who died in the war. A separate woodland continuation then passes Kabanya Glade before finishing on Kuntsevo’s urban side. This is the 1 January 2023 running version, changed by its author after heavy December snowfall. Its winter history explains the passages selected, while present woodland and sporting-path conditions need checking before an independent repeat.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
For prepared runners experienced in prolonged exercise and independent woodland outings. The complete marathon version is not a children’s walk. Observe Meshchersky Park’s published lead and muzzle rules; dog arrangements for the entire continuation are not separately established. Full bicycle and stroller access through all connections is unconfirmed.

Nearby

Meshchersky Park rope courses and other facilities, Technopark interiors and additional Skolkovo objects have separate visiting conditions. The Here and Now festival display changes and its complete former collection is not promised. Kuntsevo Plaza beside Molodyozhnaya can be a post-run stop after a separate urban approach. The historical New Year outing does not provide current catering points, support or a group departure today.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 742 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 19%, Compacted dirt 16%, Dirt 10%, Unknown 36%.
Риски Marathon exertion calls for familiar nutrition, water and sufficient spare energy. Maintain direction at woodland junctions and use authorised road and railway crossings. Snow, ice and wet roots can noticeably slow movement. The historical New Year passage does not guarantee current access to prepared ski lanes. Observe their present purpose and avoid damaging ski grooves. Remain on accessible pond-side ground; the park prohibits entering pond ice in winter.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 8 h 5 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The complete duration of this specific 2023 version is not established. Reserve a substantial independent outing with spare daylight, nutrition and time to return from Kuntsevo. Calculate movement around your own present-surface pace, including pauses and urban crossings separately. The 2025 marathon’s result and group pace do not establish this course’s duration.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The course has winter origins, but repeat it only in conditions that allow confident completion. On snow, check access and sporting-path purposes; postpone during widespread ice or heavy snowfall. In dry, snow-free weather, consider heat, water and tick protection. Woodland portions can become slower after rain.
