Route description

The 2022 New Year run has an unusual sequence of encounters: Setun River and woodland glades, the modern Malevich’s Cipher composition, Bibigon, then Khoja Nasreddin and Baron Munchausen near the conclusion. Leaving Bakovka, begin on Meshchersky Park’s woodland side and beside actual open Setun passages. Skolkovo and Novaya Tryokhgorka then add outdoor art and residential quarters to the journey. North of Chachenka Stream, this version selects its own continuation through Beer Glade, Agregatnaya Glade and High Glade. Beyond the forest, it reaches the Krylatskoye and Fili side. The final urban passage comes beside two literary statues near Molodyozhnaya. The Baron pulls himself and his horse from a bog, while Khoja stands with his donkey. These exterior encounters provide a reason to conclude the prolonged run more quietly, with a brief pause before a separate metro approach.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
For runners prepared for prolonged marathon exertion and an independent outing. The complete course is not offered as a children’s walk; the urban statues can be visited separately. Observe Meshchersky Park’s lead and muzzle rules and check dog arrangements for the full continuation separately. Complete bicycle and stroller access through all woodland connections is unestablished.

Nearby

Meshchersky and Big Lazenkovsky ponds should not automatically be added from the 2023 version: this course selects a different southern passage. A fuller Skolkovo visit, Technopark facilities and additional sporting loops require separate plans. Tramplin shopping centre neighbours the concluding literary statues, while its interiors and services are visited separately. The historical New Year event does not provide present catering points or support.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The departure is on Bakovka’s MCD-1 road side after a separate platform approach. Skolkovo station is encountered later and can be considered for a shorter independent finish after checking trains. Near the conclusion, the route passes the actual Molodyozhnaya metro station before ending on the neighbouring urban side. Return to the required metro entrance with a separate street approach. Check services for your travel date.
By car
Use a permitted Bakovka road side for drop-off and urban roads near Molodyozhnaya for post-run collection. Arrange a return to any car left behind separately. Do not rely on car support in the woodland portions; observe Meshchersky Park restrictions and local barriers.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Determine lawful Bakovka drop-off and urban-finish collection arrangements beforehand. Do not obstruct woodland entrances, crossings or metro approaches.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 658 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 29%, Dirt 15%, Compacted dirt 11%, Unknown 32%.
Риски Prolonged exercise requires considered nutrition and spare energy for the concluding residential quarters. Woodland junctions, road approaches and the urban return need independent navigation. Winter soft snow and ice change the pace; a historical run does not grant current walking permission on every prepared ski lane. Observe sporting-path purposes and safe railway crossings. Remain off pond ice in Meshchersky Park. Retain attention on late urban sections despite fatigue.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 8 h 2 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The complete duration of this specific 2022 version is not established. Calculate a substantial outing around your present pace, with spare time for woodland surfaces, pauses and urban crossings. Leave the two statues near the metro for an unhurried conclusion while retaining time to travel home. The 2025 marathon result and later 2023 version do not establish this course’s duration.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The historical outing took place in winter, but repeat the whole course only with present woodland access and permitted use of sporting paths. Stable dry surfaces in snow-free weather are generally more convenient for independent running. Postpone during heavy snowfall, widespread ice or prolonged rain. Carry water and tick protection in warm weather, with spare daylight and a torch for short days.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода

Water and familiar nutrition for sustained exercise
Wind and precipitation protection
Dry warm post-run clothing
Headtorch and spare charge
Phone with saved map and spare power
Seasonal tick protection and small first-aid kit
