Route description

From Slyudyanka the route follows the valley approach to Chersky Peak’s ridge, descends to Heart Lake and returns towards the Second Bare Summit. The L-3504 locomotive monument supplies an early specific stop, while the main contrast emerges higher up: after the open ridge, the group reaches the lakeshore inside its mountain basin. This variant experiences the water close up instead of only viewing it from above. Descending to the lake and leaving the basin add separate effort to the sustained climb from town. The programme finishes near the Second Bare Summit; arrange accommodation and a return to Slyudyanka beforehand. Weather determines views and whether the entire upper section is suitable.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 1860 м.
SurfaceDirt 76%, Asphalt 4%, Artificial surface 1%, Unknown 20%.
Риски Check current bridges and water levels on the valley side. The upper section includes a rocky ridge, steep lake descent and the climb back towards the bare summits. Wet rock, ice and fog increase risk. Shorten the programme by an agreed safe route if conditions deteriorate; avoid descending into unfamiliar valleys to find water.
