Route description

From the Peschanaya side, continue north towards Babushka, Sennaya and Dry. Early in the walk, observe the bay and stilt-rooted trees whose exposed roots are characteristic of this shore. Stand beside them without climbing roots or disturbing the surrounding sand. Rocky projections between bays then become the journey’s focus. Babushka forms a separate coastal bowl between the Great Bell Tower and Ded Cape. Their outlines are viewed from the path and bay; climbing their upper formations is outside this crossing. Beyond Babushka, Dolgaya Valley, Sennaya’s shoreline and further rocky turns make the landscape more varied. Golden Cliff Cape appears towards the ending, while Dry Bay remains the destination. This version follows the lower trail with rocky sections. Prepare safe passage at every difficult connection and your return from Dry; an intention to remain beside water is insufficient. Choose a separately agreed section or finish early if an authorised land connection is unestablished. Current bay-side services and ready departure are unconfirmed.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - No With a dog - No data By bike - No With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data For prepared walkers confident on uneven rocky shores and hillside paths. The lower rocky version is unsuitable as a simple children’s walk. Cycling and stroller travel are outside this plan. Dog admission, reliable reception, drinking water and assistance throughout are independently unestablished. Participants need the ability to abandon doubtful continuation and return along a prepared route.

Nearby

The Sennaya Pad ranger property stands near the coastal line. Observing its side does not establish unrestricted entry, staff reception, assistance or accommodation. Agree necessary contacts and permissions beforehand. Buddha Stone, Observation Rock’s upper formations, additional Bell Tower summits and Sinichka Bay belong to other branches. Independent climbs and a southern extension are outside this version. The Courage of Life cedar appears in older coastal accounts and was already described as dead. Present condition and an exact visit through this version are unestablished, so encountering it is never promised. Dry finishes this walk. Khargino, Dyrovataya and Buguldeyka need independent stages. Historical accounts of rangers, accommodation, meals and informal transport do not establish current services for your dates.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Regular public transport to the precise Peschanaya-side start and from the ending near Dry is unconfirmed. Agree arrival in the area, an independent starting approach and return from the final bay. Older informal transport accounts do not establish a current scheduled service. This crossing starts separately from your proposed arrival place, so verify the connection beforehand and avoid relying on an unexpected departure during worsening weather.
By car
Ordinary-car access to both coastal endpoints is unconfirmed. Agree an accessible road location for the broader journey, followed by independent arrival in the bay area. Avoid attempting to drive along this walking shore route. An independent return from Dry to your parked vehicle is required; onward passage towards Buguldeyka is outside this version.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Ask where vehicle storage is permitted before arriving in the coastal area. Sandy bays and a walking path do not establish car access. Include return to your separately chosen location and changed-weather collection in the broader travel plan.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 366 м.
SurfaceGravel 18%, Unknown 82%.
Риски The lower coastal path includes rocky ground, narrow uneven sections and changes between shore and slope. Avoid treating the entire line as continuous sand walking. Confirm individual connections with a prepared group or someone familiar with the terrain before planning complete passage. Agree another authorised section, early completion or abandonment if a safe permitted connection is unavailable. Avoid wading around coastal obstructions or taking unfamiliar steep-slope shortcuts. Waves, rain and icing change shore and stone conditions; loose ground, scree and fallen trees need care. Observe the Bell Tower, Ded and Golden Cliff formations from the path without unprepared climbing. Obtain national park permission and check the chosen direction’s current status. Coastal tree roots are vulnerable: avoid climbing them, removing bark or disturbing sand. Enter fenced accommodation grounds or ranger property only through independent agreement. Prepare water, food reserves, check-in messages and an exit if continuation becomes impossible.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 3 h 2 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The exact duration of this lower version is unestablished. A one-day plan requires confirmed complete authorised passage and return arrangements. Include the starting approach, Peschanaya and tree stops, rocky connections, Babushka and Sennaya shores, the Dry ending and agreed departure. Do not substitute normal beach-walking speed for rocky-section progress. An easier upper route or another excursion’s duration does not establish this version’s schedule. Allow reserves before dusk and agree early-completion conditions; overnight accommodation during delay is independently unconfirmed.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Snow-free conditions with dry stones, calm Baikal weather and valid park admission. Check wind and shore conditions even when the wooded side seems quiet. Rain, strong waves and icing can make the lower passage unsuitable for your group. Safe dates for the complete route are unestablished. A winter ice continuation or spring wading passage is independently unprepared.
