Route description

Beyond the Molchad towards Gorodishche is a Brest journey for visitors who want to connect western woodland with the small towns of Grodno Region. Chernavchitsy provides the first architectural encounter: Holy Trinity Church faces the road, with its bell tower standing separately. The way then follows the Kamenets side, Shereshevo and Bialowieza sections before continuing through Porozovo towards Volkovysk roads. Crossings of the Left Lesnaya, Narew and Ros mark the transitions between settlements. The northern section reaches the Zelvyanka and Shchara and encounters Lipichanskaya Pushcha. In Dyatlovo, the Assumption Church suggests a pause: its two towers and baroque facade stand beside the way. Novoyelnya marks another part of the journey, associated with the Molchad and, further along, the Svorotva and Servach. The road reaches Gorodishche and Svityazyansky Reserve before turning towards Slonim. Lake Svityaz itself remains a separate destination for an additional visit. Slonim offers a street view of the Bernardine nuns’ church apse. The character then becomes rural again: through the Lyskovo side, Yaselda and Kobrin-area roads with the Mukhavets, the outing returns to Zhabinka and Brest. This broad circuit rewards the changing historic places and river valleys. An independent journey needs preparation, agreed accommodation and confirmed access to the particular roads within protected and border areas.

SurfaceAsphalt 67%, Compacted dirt 5%, Paving stones 3%, Unknown 22%.
Риски This substantial independent journey requires endurance, bicycle repair skills and attention around vehicle traffic. Use only permitted railway crossings and road connections. The course actually encounters Bialowieza National Park, Lipichanskaya Pushcha and Svityazyansky Reserve: confirm the specific roads, visitor zones and overnight arrangements with their administrations. Present lawful complete passage has not been established. The border zone is also encountered. Foreign visitors permanently residing outside Belarus need a travel identity document and a pass under State Border Committee rules; citizens and residents have separate requirements. The journey provides no exit into Poland.

A day-by-day plan for the multi-day outing is not established. Allocate the western woodland, northern road towards Dyatlovo and Gorodishche, Slonim and return according to confirmed accommodation. The former Slonim night-rest reference does not establish an overnight stay today. Historic brevet regulations do not set visitor travel time; allow separately for food, sleep, repairs, sightseeing and permitted alternatives.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose settled weather without snow or ice for an independent journey. Historic summer editions establish the event format rather than permanent access to each road. Account for wind on open northern sections and rain and surfaces in woodland. Plan night riding only with reliable lighting and stops agreed in advance.
