Route description

This northern circuit from Brest begins with Chernavchitsy, where the road-facing facade of Holy Trinity Church introduces the journey’s historic theme. The way continues towards the Kamenets area and Shereshevo, crossing the Left Lesnaya and Narew. Woodland sections alternate with roads between villages, gradually bringing you to Svisloch. Beside the way in Svisloch stands the old local-history museum building, once an inn. The circuit then reaches Bolshaya Berestovitsa and its Squirrel Museum, whose unusual theme comes from the animal on the town’s coat of arms. Exhibitions require a separate stop, while the buildings themselves belong to an exploration of the streets. Beyond the Ros, the course approaches Volkovysk and the Bagration bust before the museum house. Another distinctive ensemble follows in Lyskovo: the church walls and neighbouring monastery building. The return across the Yaselda and Mukhavets completes the northern arc. This 2026 variant visits Svisloch and Berestovitsa first, leaving Volkovysk and Lyskovo for the second part.

Nearby

Plan exhibitions in Svisloch, Bolshaya Berestovitsa and Volkovysk separately: the road circuit includes neither admission nor an assurance of opening on your date. Kamenets Tower, central Porozovo landmarks and the Pruzhany palace museum need separate approaches. Historic sporting controls do not replace checks of today’s shops and rest stops.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Brest Central is the railway arrival reference. Reach the fuel-station beginning on Aviatsionny Lane separately. Check schedules and bicycle carriage for your travel date. Plan departure through Brest too, with a margin before your train; intermediate bicycle transport has not been confirmed.
By car
The Brest beginning is referenced by Fuel Station No 17 at 20 Aviatsionny Lane. Use a permitted approach and drop-off location. Arrange separate support meetings in Svisloch, Bolshaya Berestovitsa or Volkovysk. Vehicle passage through woodland and the border zone needs additional checks.
Parking
Present parking has not been confirmed. Agree a place to leave your car in Brest for the full period needed. A fuel-station forecourt alone does not establish permission for a long stay.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceAsphalt 70%, Paving stones 6%, Improved surface 5%, Unknown 13%.
Риски The main demands are the long road, traffic, accumulating fatigue and independent arrangements for repairs and overnight stays. Lawful complete passage today has not been established: check service connections near Brest and on the northern section, railway crossings and Bialowieza roads separately. Confirm border-zone documents and passes according to citizenship and residence. No international border is crossed. Keep your Lyskovo ruins visit outside unless permission and structural conditions have been checked.

How much time to allow

A day-by-day plan for the multi-day outing is not established. Choose accommodation and divide the road so northern town stops fall in daylight. The historic May brevet ran from one morning to the next; its sporting cutoff is not an independent visitor timetable. Allow separate time and opening checks for any museum exhibitions.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Settled weather without snow or ice is preferable. Check woodland surfaces in spring, water and heat forecasts in summer, and daylight hours in autumn. Protected-area permissions and local restrictions need checking regardless of season.
