Route description

As checked on 12 October 2026, EuroVelo 2 in Belarus remains under development. The European Cyclists’ Federation currently discourages cyclists from entering Belarus because of travel and border-crossing restrictions. A continuous journey through every represented section has not been confirmed: plan only stages whose access and connections have been checked. The Belarusian sections have distinctive stops of their own. Near central Navahrudak the route approaches the castle ruins; around Minsk it reaches the shore of Drazdy Reservoir. The contrast between a historic town and waterside pauses offers an appealing theme for an independent cycling trip once connections, accommodation and visiting rules are established. Begin with a specific local stage that can be completed safely.
