Route description

From Mikashevichy, this cycling journey first reaches Lenin before following country directions through Karchevatka towards Khorostovo. The woodland section meets the Dzvinsky Canal; beyond Khorostovo the road crosses the Lan and leads to Gotsk. Lugi and Lake Brod then provide references before Bolshie Chuchevichi, where a wooden Intercession Church stands beside the village passage. The western half connects Veluta, Bostyn and the woods near Lake Beloye. Water beside country lanes and villages separated by woodland roads give the outing its Polesie character. Beloye’s shore remains off the course; beyond its surroundings, the route turns towards Lunin and Saints Boris and Gleb Church. Luninets follows, with urban streets and a marker commemorating the town’s first written mention. The return through Rakitno, Kozhan-Gorodok and Lakhva adds the wooden St Nicholas Church, memorial places and further river crossings. In Mikashevichy, the journey passes beside Assumption Church and the Mining Engineer sculpture. This substantial independent outing is for prepared cyclists interested in both Polesie roads and specific places along them. Establish a permissible M10 connection and woodland passage before beginning.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
Connect Polesie villages, woodland lanes and distinct town stops in one ride. The churches of Bolshie Chuchevichi, Lunin and Kozhan-Gorodok give the journey an architectural rhythm, while the Lan, Tsna and small Lake Brod emphasise the presence of water. The gradual transition from Mikashevichy into the countryside and back through Luninets makes the route varied.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - No With a dog - No By bike - Partially With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data The complete journey is for adults experienced in sustained cycling, sandy lanes and movement beside traffic. A bicycle suited to mixed surfaces is required. Establish the continuity of the complete version because a permissible M10 connection is unconfirmed. The full circuit is not recommended for children, a stroller or an accompanying dog. Continuous reception is unverified.

Nearby

Lake Beloye lies near the woodland section, but a direct shore visit is not included. A separate visit requires checking a permissible approach and current reserve arrangements. A beach, swimming and drinking water are not promised. The Vasily Korzh partisan-region museum in Khorostovo, Gotsk’s ethnographic museum, St Paraskeva Church in Bostyn and Lenin’s old Jewish cemetery require separate approaches; check opening and admission beforehand. Bostyn’s present church differs from its lost predecessor. The age of Lunin’s existing church is disputed; it should not be presented unconditionally as a wholly surviving early nineteenth-century building. Kozhan-Gorodok’s Mickiewicz Oak and cemetery places are also off the course. An independent outing does not include brevet food, support or control services. Check shops, rest places and any accommodation for the intended day. Mapped proximity to the reserve and former competition passage do not replace present access arrangements.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Mikashevichy railway station provides a transport reference near the return section. Current services, bicycle carriage and a convenient permissible approach to the beginning are unconfirmed. Check arrival, return and departure after a possible early finish beforehand; a town passage is not automatically a prepared interchange. Establish intermediate transport options separately.
By car
The starting reference in Mikashevichy is the Santa shop named by the organiser for the beginning and finish. Arrange arrival with bicycles and a meeting place separately: a retail area is not a sporting support point. Prepare permissible vehicle meetings in settlements beforehand. Do not assume vehicle passage or waiting space in the reserve’s woodland or beside lakes without checking.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Ask whether a place near the beginning may be used for the entire independent ride and plan return after an early finish. Ordinary shop access does not guarantee long-stay parking. In the reserve, use designated permissible places after checking current arrangements; woodland exits and lakeshores are not prepared parking options.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 22 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 55%, Dirt 13%, Compacted dirt 9%, Unknown 19%.
Риски The beginning connects with the M10 and the P23 interchange. A present permissible and safe cycling side is unconfirmed. Prepare a separately verified lawful connection before leaving; if this cannot be established, omit that part or finish before the uncertain section. A continuously accessible circuit is not promised without this check. Asphalt alternates with woodland earth roads and sand. The author explicitly warns that heavy rain can require fording. Establish water and small-bridge conditions beforehand; omit unsuitable sections without passing through private yards or crops. Poor earth beside the Glukhaya Lan on the return also needs a reserve of time. Sitnitsa includes a pedestrian underpass by the railway: allow for dismounting and assess its condition. Confirm passage through the Luninsky Reserve woodland, current visitor arrangements and temporary restrictions beforehand. Use designated rest places. Swimming, plant collection, tents and fires are not promised options. Seeing churches and memorials from the road does not guarantee entry indoors or onto separate grounds.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 18 h 23 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The exact author version is published as a one-day brevet; this does not establish a suitable touring duration for everyone. Prepare an independent outing with spare time for sand, dismounting and places of interest. Useful preparation groups are Mikashevichy and Lenin; woodland towards Khorostovo and Gotsk; Bolshie Chuchevichi and Bostyn; Lunin and Luninets; Kozhan-Gorodok, Lakhva and the return. These are references rather than a timetable or guaranteed food stops. If unprepared for the whole day, choose a shorter separate outing with your own transport and accommodation if needed.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Dry weather in the warmer season is preferable. Heavy rain may make water passages unsuitable, so establish levels and passage beforehand. Carry adequate water in heat and account for shorter autumn daylight. Before every visit, check woodland restrictions and reserve arrangements. A winter cycling version is unverified.
