Route description

From Bolgart, the path turns towards a southern spur and crosses into Jinalach Valley. It is a compact stage within the Small Naryn basin, defined by two named rivers and the slope between them. The climb offers a chance to look back over Bolgart country; the descent returns to a closer riverside landscape. This crossing works well between longer stages: after following the main river, change valleys and continue the mountain journey in another direction. Pause beside Jinalach and decide where the following day will end. Both endpoints are remote, so the crossing is best enjoyed within an agreed wider programme.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
No verified regular service has been found reaching the river endpoints. Arrange lower-base arrival, the Bolgart approach and an onward Jinalach exit. For a longer trek, choose the future driver meeting point for the whole programme.
By car
Discuss roads, crossings and a reachable drop-off point with a local driver. Vehicle travel over the spur has not been confirmed. The Jinalach finish is a mountain river point, not a guarantee of road access.
Parking
Long-term vehicle storage information for this crossing is unavailable. Arrange storage at a lower base and vehicle collection after the onward exit.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 162 м.
SurfaceGravel 2%, Unknown 98%.
Риски The spur ascent requires identifying the intended path; river endpoints may involve crossings and bank bypasses. A reliable local saddle name has not been established. Do not replace it with a better-known pass based on a similar elevation. Retain an option to return to a known river in fog.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 3 h 4 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A preliminary allowance is one walking day for a fit group, with reserve for navigation and crossings. This is a planning estimate; no published time exists for this exact line. Add the lower-base approach and onward exit after Jinalach.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose a warm period with the spur free of snow and the intended river crossings manageable. A precise window has not been established in a first-hand walking account. Recheck conditions after precipitation and consider more than the lower-valley weather.
