Route description

This cycling version connects prehistoric Mallorca with its inland towns. Start at Son Real beside the remains of Es Figueral settlement. The ride then leaves the coast for Petra, Inca and Muro, where the stops change to Baroque façades, a former monastery church and old wayside crosses. Finish near Can Picafort, separately from the starting place. Give the towns time: park your bicycle without obstructing pedestrians and examine details that are easy to miss while riding.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
Choose the contrast between Es Figueral’s stone remains and the town churches of Inca and Muro. Compare Sant Domingo and Santa Maria la Major in Inca; find Santa Anna and two wayside crosses in Muro. Ermites del Raiguer names a broader cycling itinerary. This outing has its own stops, so visits to the hilltop sanctuaries need separate planning.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car: Hard With children: With caution With a dog: No data By bike: Yes With a stroller: No Mobile signal: No data You need experience of long rides, confidence on ordinary roads and planned breaks. The complete outing is demanding for a beginner child. Check the permitted cycling passage at Son Real; dismounting may be required beside archaeological sites. Arrange transport and return between the different endpoints beforehand.

Nearby

Santa Magdalena, Santa Llúcia and Bonany sanctuaries belong to the official Ermites del Raiguer itinerary but are outside this ride; their climbs are separate outings. Son Real’s coastal necropolis also needs a separate visit along a permitted direction. In Muro, add Sant Joan Baptista parish church and the ethnological museum independently, checking opening arrangements.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Seasonal TIB315 serves Muro and Can Picafort, including Son Bauló stop. It helps with separate town approaches but does not provide a stop directly at Es Figueral. Check the timetable, seasonal operation and bicycle carriage for your date. Allow separately for the approach from the bus to Son Real and departure after the finish.
By car
Use Son Real’s official entrance from the Alcúdia–Artà road. There is an additional approach to the start beside Es Figueral; car access directly to the archaeological site has not been established. Arrange collection near Can Picafort or a separate return. Follow estate rules and keep cars off walking paths.
Parking
Dedicated parking directly at the Es Figueral start has not been established. Ask Son Real’s administration whether you may leave a car at the official entrance for your required period. Check signs and access arrangements. Town parking in Inca, Muro and Can Picafort needs its own check; space beside churches does not establish permission.
