Route description

The outing begins directly beside Hochzirl railway station. Its woodland direction crosses the Ehnbach side and follows Hörbstenböden towards Kirchbergalm. A separate mountain branch then approaches the exterior of Neue Magdeburger Hütte and returns to Kirchbergalm, where this variant ends. Rail access makes the departure clear, but the ending does not return to a train. Add your own station descent. Kirchbergalm Chapel provides a small roadside pause; the hut visit covers its exterior, while food service and accommodation require checks. Higher summits above the hut are outside the walk.
