Route description

Near Nodhalten, this small ascent links two roads on the hillside above Grindelwald. From the lower woodland junction, the footpath passes through trees and ends at the upper road used by the mountain bus in summer. There is no separate summit objective: the pleasure is a short passage between hillside levels, replacing a road bend with woodland quiet. Use the link within a longer walk on the Aellfluh and Bort side. Decide at the beginning where to continue after the ascent and how to return downhill. The Nodhalten rest area lies separately, so tables and an equipped fireplace are not established at this ending.
