Route description

From the upper Breitenbodenalp side, the road descends gradually towards Pfanni through alpine pasture. Small details of the working landscape hold the interest: gravel-road bends, meadow edges and water cutting across the slope. The middle passage crosses Pfannibach, a real waterside stop on this selected descent. Watch the flow from the road, then continue towards the lower signpost. Pfanni is a useful junction for an onward choice: arrange a separate descent to Schwarzwaldalp or another mountain direction. This segment does not reach a bus stop or return to the upper start. It particularly suits walkers who enjoy the pasture side of the Bernese Oberland and plan the complete hillside day beforehand.

By car
Arrange a permitted external valley transfer and add the mountain approach separately. Vehicle access to the upper start or throughout the pasture descent is unconfirmed.
