Route description

From Llano de Ucanca’s roadside, the path heads west across a broad natural plain. Las Cañadas caldera wall accompanies the walk, with solidified lava-flow fronts appearing along the way. Enjoy Teide National Park’s sense of space without arranging a separate volcanic summit ascent. At Boca Tauce the walk returns to the road and an actual viewpoint. Study Teide and Pico Viejo alongside contrasting lava forms. The selected path runs one way: arrange initial arrival and the Boca Tauce return beforehand, leaving the final stop free for the scenery.
