Route description

A small spur from the main Chafarí path leads to Degollada de Chafarí. Its dark volcanic hollow gives the short outing its own character: pause to study nearby landscape forms before deciding how to return towards the roadside. This selected walk includes only the outward branch. Boca Tauce approach and return remain independent parts of the day. Treat branch access and main-path conditions separately: Chafarí has advance booking, so check the complete plan before travelling.
