Route description

This Katuar–Iksha version makes a more westerly loop before meeting the Klubish. Its river crossing lies farther north than the other version, after which the passage turns east and ends beside the Iksha railway area. The sequence gives a distinct woodland running outing: a long western approach, a turn around the river and a return towards passenger transport. The author identifies this as an archived direction through Granat. Check present boundaries, fences and passage through the older side before travelling. Private rooms, a fireside rest place and a usable crossing are outside the confirmed content of the outing.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
The archived woodland running passage needs preparation and access checks beforehand. Conditions for children, animals and bicycles are separately unconfirmed. The complete woodland version is unsuitable for a stroller. Continuous mobile coverage is unconfirmed.

Nearby

The former Klubish rest place and Granat’s private services need separate present-day admission; their role in club history does not include a fire, accommodation or room access. The more direct version crosses the river farther south and needs its own arrangements. A newer woodland meeting place and unnamed water body are not added as attractions reached by this passage. Morozki and Yakhroma belong to other outings.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The starting and ending sides connect with the Savyolovsky railway. A separate approach is needed from the chosen Katuar platform to the start. In Iksha, the actual finish also precedes the approach to the passenger side. Check both railway crossings, required platforms and calls of the chosen trains. Allow a margin for the return train rather than using a time in an old club announcement.
By car
For vehicle collection, choose an external railway ending and agree the return to your car beforehand. Vehicle access along the archived woodland side and into a private complex is unconfirmed. Road delivery cannot replace checks of the western loop’s walking access.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Ask about leaving a car at the chosen ending for the outing. A nearby railway platform does not establish available vehicle space or security services. Arrange collection after finishing separately.

What to expect

Places
Klubish River — The actual river crossing after the western loop. It encounters the Klubish farther north than the other version; a separate former rest place and a usable crossing are not included as confirmed facilities.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 76 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 47%, Dirt 13%, Improved surface 2%, Unknown 38%.
Риски The main uncertainty is the older western passage: new fences and changed ground may require abandoning this version. Check water levels and the actual Klubish crossing; substituting the southern approach for this northern one needs a new plan. Keep energy beyond the river for the eastern return and Iksha approach. Use current authorised crossings at roads and railways.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 3 h 47 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Complete duration with platform approaches, the river pause and return travel is unconfirmed. Check access through the western loop first, then allow daylight for the river section and eastern ending. Have the option to stop the outing if boundaries have changed or water is high. An old club rest place does not establish a schedule for today’s independent run.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
A reliable season for the archived passage is unconfirmed. Club outings also took place in colder weather, but those conditions do not establish modern passage or a prepared ski trail. Spring thaw changes the river crossing, while wet woodland ground matters after rain. Check winter snow and access separately; safe travel over ice is not assumed.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Running footwear with a stable sole for woodland, clothing for the long western approach and river stop.
Water and food for an independent outing; river-water quality is unconfirmed.
Rain layer, dry socks, light, insect protection and first aid.
A map distinguishing the western loop from the other version, phone and spare power.
Checked platform approaches, return trains and separately agreed collection.
Fresh information about boundaries and access to the older woodland side.
