Route description

This running option from Nakhabino to Perkhushkovo connects several different waterside settings. Near Stepanovskoye, it reaches Semin and Bykov ponds before meeting the Lipka ahead of Petrovo-Dalneye. The small river offers a natural pause before the journey arrives at the broad Moscow River. A pedestrian bridge changes both bank and surroundings. Woodland roads become prominent again, and the southern continuation meets the Medvenka. The finish is near Perkhushkovo railway stop. This is a long independent run combining dirt paths and road sections; confirming river-bridge access and older woodland passages is an essential part of planning.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
Travel from small ponds to a large river, then return to quieter woodland valleys. Semin and Bykov ponds invite brief stops, the Lipka suits a separately chosen snack break, and the Moscow River crossing gives a sense of the journey’s scale. Different railway endpoints let the day finish on another side of the region.

Nearby

In Petrovo-Dalneye, choose a separate village stop or replenish water at an open shop. The ponds and Lipka are not verified drinking sources or designated beaches. This crossing differs from the option through St Elijah Church to Molodyozhnaya: it uses another Moscow River crossing and finishes beside the railway at Perkhushkovo. Extra riverside walks need their own permitted approaches.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Arrive at Nakhabino railway station and use the south-side approach to the start. Plan the return from Perkhushkovo railway stop: the endpoint is separate from the platform centre, requiring a short permitted approach. Check that your chosen train stops there and confirm the current station exit. Miitovskaya belongs to an earlier option and is not the start of this version.
By car
Arrange a drop-off in Nakhabino and a separate collection near Perkhushkovo. A car left at the start requires an independent return plan. The Moscow River pedestrian bridge is not for vehicle support, and woodland or private roads should not be used as shortcuts.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Check a permitted place near the chosen drop-off or collection point and the allowed duration. Do not count on a space beside the platform, in a residential courtyard or at a private gate. Keep railway approaches and pedestrian crossings clear.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 558 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 25%, Dirt 23%, Improved surface 5%, Unknown 41%.
Риски Confirm that the Petrovo-Dalneye footbridge and its approaches are open before setting out. A closure requires a separately revised plan; do not replace the bridge with a ford or ice crossing. Older western woodland passages can be unclear or overgrown, and rain makes dirt surfaces slippery. Check permitted passage at private gates and do not climb fences. Take care through settlements and road connections, and use current designated railway crossings. The complete option requires experience of sustained running.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 6 h 36 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Keep a separate day free, starting early and allowing for forest junctions, waterside rests and the return train. No verified overall completion time is available. If bridge access or western passages remain unclear, choose an independently planned shorter section. A Lipka pause can be planned as a rest, without assuming a fire site or facilities.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Cool, dry weather after the forest ground firms up is preferable. Spring water and prolonged rain complicate river hollows; autumn woodland loses daylight early. Winter requires separate checks on the bridge, approaches and icy paths. Current bridge access matters more than the calendar season, so confirm it shortly before travelling.
