Route description

From Nekrasovskaya, this winter direction first approaches Pestovskoye Reservoir, turns north towards the Beklemishevo side and continues towards the Radonezh ski system. The journey has two different water encounters: the reservoir’s open basin and the small upper Yakhroma in the northern woodland passage. Between them the direction changes, while the eastward continuation gradually reaches the settlement side near the railway. Its author published this version as a ski proposal: an experienced independent group should choose it after checking the entire passage. Part of the line lies over water and needs a confirmed permitted ice crossing; without that, do not plan the connected journey in this form.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
For experienced skiers able to check winter water crossings beforehand and organise an independent outing. Conditions for children, dogs and bicycles are unestablished. Do not plan the full passage with a stroller. Continuous reception is unconfirmed.

Nearby

Other Pestovskoye-group directions lead to Zavety Ilyicha or use different connections with the Radonezh system. These are independent versions to assess separately. Marfino, historic Radonezh village and the Abramtsevo museum are unconfirmed as places visited on this line; plan separate trips with their own access rules. Former club fires do not establish working facilities.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Arrive at Nekrasovskaya on the Savyolovsky direction and take a separate approach to the start. After the eastern ending, a separate approach reaches passenger Radonezh on the Yaroslavsky direction. Check current trains and permitted passages to the required platforms. The railway name Radonezh does not mean a visit to the historic village.
By car
For vehicle delivery, agree collection on the Nekrasovskaya side and after the eastern ending. Direct vehicle access to the water crossing and support along the woodland continuation are unconfirmed. If leaving a car at the start, organise the return from the other railway direction beforehand.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Ask whether you may leave a vehicle on the chosen Nekrasovskaya or Radonezh side for the entire outing. Choose drop-off and a permitted longer stay for the car separately.

What to expect

Places
Pestovskoye Reservoir Here the woodland ski journey reaches the reservoir. This line’s water section requires a confirmed permitted and safe ice crossing; a summer shore alternative is unestablished.
Upper Yakhroma The small Yakhroma appears on the northern section before the continuation towards Radonezh. An actual river crossing adds another water feature beyond the reservoir, with its own winter conditions.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 881 м.
SurfaceТип покрытия пока не определён.
Риски The main advance condition is a confirmed permitted and safe Pestovskoye Reservoir ice crossing. The line reaches water, while the published ski proposal does not establish today’s ice. Check the Yakhroma crossing independently: reservoir conditions cannot be transferred to flowing water. Confirm clearance, woodland corridors and authorised road passages. If a connected safe passage is unconfirmed, postpone this entire version.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 11 h 22 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A day-by-day plan is not established. This multi-day entry has no confirmed stage division, overnight places or food stops. Before choosing dates, agree winter crossings, actual finishing places for each stage and group transport. Allow separately for assessment of the water section and the approach to a return train; results from other club outings do not establish this journey’s pace.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
This winter ski version needs settled snow and separately checked safe, permitted ice. The calendar winter alone establishes neither. Thaw, early freeze-up and poor visibility may rule out the water section. A summer land version with a shore alternative is unestablished.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Skis and bindings for an independent woodland outing, with a checked repair kit.
Moving and pause clothing, wind protection and spare dry layers.
Your own food, drinking water and hot drink; working food stops are unconfirmed.
A map of the water section and northern turn, phone, reserve power, light and first aid.
Agreed water-crossing conditions, group communication and a checked plan for ending each stage.
