Route description

This Povarovo–Iksha ski version unfolds through a large northern woodland arc. From the Povarovo side, the passage heads north-east, reaches its northern turn and meets the Klubish. The direction then changes: the southern continuation brings two more locations on the same stream and gradually leads towards Iksha. The journey’s interest is following the Klubish through different woodland sections without revisiting the same crossing. The author describes an actual passage with a later correction near the Central Ring Road. Before an independent outing, confirm present connections beside major roads, woodland conditions and every river crossing; a prepared ski trail today is separately unconfirmed.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
For experienced independent skiers prepared to check woodland connections and three water locations. Conditions for children, dogs and bicycles are unestablished. Do not plan the entire passage with a stroller; continuous reception is unconfirmed.

Nearby

Older versions through Terekhovo, Vekshino and Udino appear in a separate author archive and differ from the later passage; their connections are not added automatically. The Volgusha and Paramonovsky Ravine belong to the neighbouring river system, but specific visits are unestablished here. Museums, sports bases and former club fires are outside the confirmed services.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Arrival belongs to Povarovo I on the Leningradsky direction; choose a separate authorised approach from the required platform to the start. After the main ending, a separate approach reaches passenger Iksha on the Savyolovsky direction. Choose present trains and authorised road and railway passages. Povarovo II and III do not replace this line’s starting station.
By car
Agree delivery on the Povarovo side and collection after the ending near Iksha. Vehicle support along the woodland arc and direct access to each Klubish location are unconfirmed. If leaving a car at the start, plan the return between the different railway directions beforehand.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Ask whether you may leave a vehicle in your chosen Povarovo or Iksha location for the entire outing. Agree group drop-off and permission for a longer car stay separately.

What to expect

Places
Klubish on the northern arc and southern continuation — The Klubish appears first on the northern arc, then twice more along the southern continuation towards Iksha. These are three distinct encounters with one woodland stream; check a present safe, authorised crossing at each location.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 723 м.
SurfaceТип покрытия пока не определён.
Риски Check current woodland connections beside major roads and the Central Ring Road: this route family changed repeatedly with construction. The later published version is separated from older archival passages, but does not establish access today. Assess the northern Klubish crossing and two southern locations independently. Bridges, safe fords and ice are unestablished. Confirm authorised passenger approaches at both stations and woodland corridor conditions before departure.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 9 h 4 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A confirmed modern total duration for the one-day ski outing is unavailable. Include the northern woodland arc, independent assessment of three stream locations and a separate approach to Iksha after the main ending. Leave a reserve before the chosen return train. A former club rest place is not a working required food stop.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose this ski direction with settled snow after checking woodland connections and stream conditions. Thin snow, wet snow and thaw can materially change passability. Calendar information from former outings does not establish a new season. A summer version of this entire line is separately unestablished.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Skis and bindings for an independent woodland outing, plus a small repair kit.
Wind protection, pause insulation and spare dry items.
Your own food, drinking water and hot drink; river replenishment and food stops are unconfirmed.
A map of the northern arc, three Klubish locations and platform approaches, phone, reserve power, light and first aid.
A checked return and an agreed way to end the outing if conditions change.
