Route description

This passage begins in Listvyanka’s village area and finishes in Bolshoye Goloustnoye. Between them lies the coastal trail through Bolshiye Koty, alternating wooded ascents and descents to Baikal, narrow Devil’s Bridge and the opening into Malaya Kadilnaya valley. Listvyanka’s memorial places gradually give way to valleys and stony shoreline; the final approach returns to the village road. Confirmed Great Baikal Trail access is required. On 12 October 2026, reopening after the bear-related closure of 4 September is unconfirmed. Ending fire restrictions on 1 October does not establish removal of that separate prohibition. Once reopened, use the current authorised wooded approach; the prohibited lower cliff-side path is no substitute.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceDirt 6%, Improved surface 2%, Asphalt 1%, Unknown 92%.
Риски Establish the current authorised passage before Devil’s Bridge and along unstable upper paths. Shoreline alternatives depend on waves: strong wind can block the entire available stony passage. Beyond Malaya Kadilnaya, avoid pauses below unstable slopes. Bear encounters caused a separate closure; old signs and open village roads do not establish admission.

How much time to allow

Расчётное время в пути 16 h 52 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A day-by-day plan is not established. This is a multi-day passage; its complete duration is unconfirmed. After reopening, arrange walking days and authorised overnight places around coastal conditions; the park’s standard three-day description is no substitute for an individual plan. Allow a margin for final transport.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
During authorised access, prefer dry snow-free weather and a calm lake. Use established places for summer tent stays. Autumn cold, ice and storms substantially affect coastal passage; late autumn and winter need independent assessment, even when the standard route card lists year-round seasonality.
