Route description

This linear walking approach starts in lower Luzhba, crosses the Tom River at a boat-ferry location and continues uphill along the Amzas valley direction. It then passes the Talc Quarry, reaches the tremolite rock outcrops and approaches Alguy Falls. The ending lies above the waterfall section in the Alguy valley. Arrange the boat beforehand: the water crossing cannot be treated as a walking ford. Organise return from the upper valley to Luzhba and the return boat separately. Vehicle transfers to the quarry offered in an operator’s programme are independent services and do not replace this walking approach.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 483 м.
SurfaceGravel 69%, Dirt 1%, Unknown 31%.
Риски The boat crossing depends on water conditions, weather and the operator. Woodland paths can include wet ground, roots and stones; wet surfaces and steep banks near the falls need particularly steady footing. Avoid quarry excavations and unstable faces. Check upper-path and return conditions locally.
