Route description

This Health Trail crossing begins beside Black Hill’s rocky summit and heads west through the wooded Torgashinsky Ridge. Clear weather lets you take in the surrounding hills before entering a different landscape of wooded slopes, high connecting ground and shady gullies. Kuznetsovo remains below: prepare the village ascent to Black Hill separately before the crossing itself. Health Trail links different parts of the ridge and meets numerous local paths. Retain the chosen western direction: side-route names invite additional rocks and caves, but each needs independent strength and time. Vasilisa Pine stands beside the path in the western half. Later, the walk crosses Tamara’s wooded slopes and reaches the Red Ridge area. An independent summit visit and city descent remain beyond this woodland ending. It suits a prepared walker interested in seeing the ridge as one landscape. Rather than separate short outings, you gradually discover its eastern, central and western sections. Arka lies on a separate branch, while a view of Stolby from the Torgashinsky Ridge does not mean entering the national park. Arrange the return between different settled sides beforehand.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - No With a dog - No data By bike - No With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data Public transport requires different eastern and western connections and a prepared return. The complete crossing needs good fitness and experience of long walks on woodland slopes. This version is unsuitable for an ordinary children’s outing, bicycle or stroller. Dog conditions and continuous reception are unconfirmed. Observe Black Hill nature-monument rules; nearby caves require separate authorisation.

Nearby

Arka’s natural rock opening lies downhill on a separate branch. Red Ridge is beyond the western woodland end; prepare its summit and the city descent additionally. Ledyanaya and other caves, Vityaz and local viewpoints are not required stops merely because Health Trail connects with their approaches. Underground visits within the nature monument need written authorisation from the protecting organisation. The Zykovo approach along Great Yenisei Trail is another independent eastern arrival plan.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
For the eastern approach, the organiser names Kuznetsovo stop: walk through the village’s cottage side to Skazka Trail and ascend Black Hill. That climb is additional to this summit start. In the west, prepare a separate School stop connection through the settled Red Ridge side. Check current departures, allotment passage and both pedestrian links beforehand. Arrange the return from Krasnoyarsk to the eastern side; this is not a circuit at one stop.
By car
Choose drop-off in Kuznetsovo, followed by the independent Black Hill ascent. Confirm permitted unloading and cottage-side passage beforehand. Tourist motor-vehicle movement is restricted in the nature monument; do not plan to drive the ridge footpath. In the west, agree collection on the city side near Sverdlov Square or another appropriate place, including the connection from the woodland end. A car left in the east needs a separate retrieval plan.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Vehicle storage on settled approaches needs separate agreement. Ask whether a car can remain for the complete crossing, establish who controls the land and plan retrieval from the western side. Vehicle-storage conditions at Black Hill’s summit or along woodland paths are unestablished.

What to expect

Tamara Hill Slopes the upper woodland passage beside the named western hill; check an independent summit or viewing branch separately.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceDirt 67%, Gravel 6%, Compacted dirt 2%, Unknown 22%.
Риски Long ascents and descents need a steady pace and spare strength for the western exit. Walk carefully on Black Hill’s rocks and reassess woodland footing after rain or frost. Numerous branches complicate navigation: do not add an unfamiliar city descent without knowing its destination and permitted passage. Continuous reception is unconfirmed. Protect rocks and plants within the nature monument, observe current restrictions and avoid fires outside designated equipped places. Cave branches require written authorisation and independent preparation.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 7 h 44 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Time for the route | Unestablished With stops | Unestablished A confirmed complete allowance for this direction with pauses is unestablished. Plan a substantial daylight crossing, separately adding the Kuznetsovo ascent, western city descent and return to the original settled side. Retain time for Black Hill and Vasilisa. Arka, Red Ridge summit and other side routes are not automatically included. Before setting out, choose checked ways to finish earlier if pace or weather changes.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
A long dry snow-free day suits a first complete crossing. Check gully ground in spring and after rain, and use tick protection in the warm season. Assess wind and visibility on Black Hill’s open ground. Short autumn daylight requires an early start including the eastern ascent. Year-round nature-monument visits do not establish complete winter ridge passability: snow and ice need a separate assessment.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Footwear for prolonged walking on rock and woodland slopes, a wind layer and rainwear.
Water, food and reserves for the crossing and both external approaches; confirmed drinking-water replenishment is unestablished.
A map of major junctions, compass, headlamp, charged phone and backup power.
First-aid supplies, seasonal tick protection and clothing for temperature changes.
An agreed western exit, contact with anyone collecting you and an independent return plan for an eastern car.
