Route description

Brusnichnaya is a substantial woodland circuit on the eastern Torgashinsky Ridge. From the upper start near Black Hill, this direction first heads west along the northern section before turning toward Brusnichnaya’s wooded slopes. Upper forest passages give way to a descent toward the lower river valley, leaving the city side beyond a succession of slopes. This circuit does not climb Black Hill’s summit. The southern woodland section passes beside the Bazaikha valley without crossing the river or including an additional bank descent. Later, the route meets Uchasovenny Stream, also called Krestovy, meaning Chapel or Cross Stream. A ford is mapped at the crossing, so establish present water and crossing conditions beforehand. A substantial woodland return to the upper side remains beyond the stream: the circuit feels complete after the next ascent rather than at the lower water. It suits someone seeking a prolonged walk with the rhythm of woodland slopes. Walk around the hill’s different sides rather than collecting neighbouring summits and rocks. Reaching the start from Kuznetsovo requires an independent local-trail approach. Retain that connection in the return plan after completing the main loop.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - No With a dog - No data By bike - No With a stroller - No Mobile signal - Poor The woodland start needs an independent Kuznetsovo approach and the same return after the complete circuit. Very good fitness is required. Prolonged woodland slopes and a stream ford are unsuitable for an ordinary children’s outing, stroller or bicycle. Dog conditions are unconfirmed. The organiser warns of almost no reception; prepare navigation and return independently of the network.

Nearby

Black Hill is near the upper area, but its summit needs an independent approach. The organiser names Anda, Kamala and Igly Rocks as neighbours rather than required circuit stops. Veera Rocks and Balcony Viewpoint belong to another ridge section. Underground branches are also excluded: caves within the nature monument require written authorisation from the protecting organisation. Approaches via Skazka and Kuznetsovo are separate arrival plans.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The organiser describes arrival at Kuznetsovo stop, followed by cottage-side passage to Skazka or Kuznetsovo Trail. These connect with Health Trail and Brusnichnaya’s turquoise direction. Check the present bus, permitted passage and exact upper-start connection beforehand. Returning to the village remains after the woodland loop; the stop is not at its start. Confirm last departures independently for the chosen day.
By car
Choose drop-off in Kuznetsovo, followed by the pedestrian approach. Agree cottage-side passage and unloading conditions beforehand. Brusnichnaya is described as a natural walking path; a visitor drive around the circuit is unconfirmed. Tourist motor-vehicle movement is restricted within Black Hill nature monument. Arrange collection on the settled side, including the connection from forest to village.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Vehicle storage in Kuznetsovo needs separate agreement. Ask whether a car can remain for the complete circuit and its approaches, and establish the landholder’s conditions. Keep cottage-side roads, gates and pedestrian passage clear. A confirmed vehicle-storage location at the woodland start is unavailable.

What to expect

Places
Brusnichnaya Hill Slopes the western woodland section beside the named hill, without an independent summit ascent.
Bazaikha Valley the lower woodland passage beside the river setting, without a river crossing or additional bank descent.
Chapel (Cross) Stream the named watercourse with a mapped ford on the lower section; check its present conditions beforehand.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 414 м.
SurfaceDirt 90%, Unknown 10%.
Риски The main challenge is prolonged slope walking with spare strength for the return ascent. Reassess woodland ground after rain or frost. A ford is mapped at Chapel Stream, but present depth, flow and safe passability are unconfirmed. Do not use a historic depth attribute to decide on the day. Changed conditions are not a reason to improvise an unchecked bypass. With almost no reception, clear junction planning, spare daylight and the village return become particularly important.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 5 h 25 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Time for the route | Unestablished With stops | Unestablished A confirmed complete allowance for this circuit with pauses is unestablished. Plan a substantial daylight outing including both Kuznetsovo connections. The lower section still leaves a woodland climb to the upper start, so a stream pause does not mark the end of the effort. A separate Black Hill ascent and Igly branch are not automatically included. Prepare a checked response to an unsuitable ford, fatigue or changing weather beforehand.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
A dry snow-free day with ample daylight is preferable for a first complete circuit. Check stream conditions separately in spring and after prolonged rain. The organiser warns of warm-season ticks. Wet autumn leaves make descents slippery, while shorter daylight reduces the village-return reserve. The natural path can be difficult in winter; snow, ice and the water crossing need an independent assessment.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Grippy footwear for prolonged woodland-slope walking, rainwear and a warm layer.
Drinking water and food with reserves for the loop and both village connections; the stream is not an established drinking-water supply.
A map of Brusnichnaya, Health, Skazka and Kuznetsovo junctions, compass, headlamp and backup power.
First-aid supplies, seasonal tick protection and dry spare clothing.
A checked ford decision and return plan for almost absent mobile reception.
