Route description

This woodland walk begins near Metelitsa and leads towards Berdsk’s sanatorium neighbourhood. The pinewood beside the sports base sets the mood: take your time, listen to the woodland and pause whenever you want a break from the town’s pace. Paths eventually reach the northern residential streets, and the walk ends near Berdskiy Sanatoriy. Metelitsa has its own sporting life, but exploring the woodland need not depend on equipment hire or an event. This option is a separate walking link through the pines and on to residential driveways. Green Island neighbourhood appears towards the finish; a visit to its namesake park can be an additional outing. Choose dry weather and arrange your return beforehand. It is a pleasant walk for conversation, with time for a pause among the pines and an unhurried finish on the urban side.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Consider Krasny Sokol bus stop for the start, allowing a separate approach to Metelitsa. Berdskiy Sanatoriy stop is near the finish. Check operating routes, timetables and boarding sides before travelling. The approach from the southern stop is additional to the woodland walk.
By car
Metelitsa sports base at 2G Lenina Street is the start-side road reference. Ask the base about permitted drop-off and entry. Continue on foot through the woodland. The finish is on the sanatorium side: arrange collection on an accessible urban road, without relying on a drive through the forest.
Parking
Parking is mapped near Metelitsa and on the northern street section. Base parking can operate seasonally; check opening, charges and longer stays separately. Conditions at the northern area are also unconfirmed. If leaving a car at the start, arrange an independent return.
