Route description

This left-bank Great Ob Trail section connects a woodland approach with By the Ob Sea Park, the beach strip and a commemorative square on the hydroelectric-station side. It starts west of Bumerang: follow woodland paths before reaching the familiar park area and the Novosibirsk Reservoir bank. The outing has two moods. Woodland provides shade and walking among trees, while By the Sea Beach opens the space of the Ob Sea. The park was established in the surviving Chemsky woodland in 1957. Farther along this continuation, the Liberators Commemorative Square offers a quiet pause on the ObGES side. Leave time for bank pauses and photographs, arranging your woodland approach and return from the finish beforehand. This is a walk along a particular part of the coast. Swimming, water activities, museum tours and paid facilities have separate conditions.

Nearby

Chemy Museum at 12a Novomorskaya Street tells the story of Novosibirsk Hydroelectric Station construction and local life before the reservoir. It stands away from this course; establish admission and group walks with the museum. The Conquerors of the Ob mosaic also needs a separate approach. Beach activities, the horse club, rides and seasonal events are outside this outing. Check conditions with their organisers.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The GES stop is mapped beside the finish. Check the required direction, operating services and last departure before travelling. It does not provide delivery to the western woodland start: arrange a permitted approach or separate drop-off. A shorter outing beginning on the park side also needs its own approach plan.
By car
Agree a road approach to your chosen part of the left-bank coast. The western start lies in woodland and is not verified parking. The neighbouring guest complex has separate conditions; its driveways are not an assumed public approach. Arrange collection on the permitted ObGES side beforehand.
Parking
Parking is mapped beside Bumerang along the intermediate course. Current access, charges and a long stay are unconfirmed. Parking conditions at the western start and finish are unknown. Establish a permitted place before travelling; beach and woodland areas are outside an unrestricted driving plan.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 16 м.
SurfaceDirt 38%, Asphalt 18%, Compacted dirt 1%, Unknown 44%.
Риски Ground-surface paths on the initial woodland approach may become wet after rain. Beach sand takes more effort than urban paving. Check gates and current park signs. Give way to walkers in narrow places; a bicycle may need pushing. Keep children beside you near water. A bank walk does not establish permission for swimming or entering the ice.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 29 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow for the woodland approach, a Bumerang pause, park and beach walking, then the commemorative square and hydroelectric-station side. A verified full duration is unavailable. Add delivery and return time. Bank pauses can become the day’s main part; Chemy Museum and independent water-activity visits need separate planning.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
A dry day in the warmer months suits woodland paths and the sandy strip. Check ground conditions at the beginning after rain. In autumn, choose daylight with spare return time. Wind is more noticeable beside open water. Winter clearance throughout the woodland approach is unconfirmed; an ice continuation is outside the plan.
